SABMiller's Chinese brand, Snow, is set to become the world's largest brand as they are estimating selling 10 billion pints this year. Read more about it here. Those 10 billion pints will only cost about $0.29 each, but news out of England says that by the 2012 Summer Olympics a pint will cost you about $13.63. read more...

Just a quick listing of interesting things that have been on the internets recently. The Guardian has a list of 101 quick picnic recipes. A little late (unless you're in the southern hemisphere), but better late than never. You don't have to be on a picnic to make these dishes. Here at long last is my "review" of the Michigan Brewers Guild 11th Annual Summer Beer Festival. The event was about 2.5 weeks ago, July 25-26. Think of me as the poor-man's Chuck Taggart - all of the procrastination, none of the skills.
